[Barlibash] Introduce yourselves

Dear Barlibashers:

To those who were in Boston last year and heading off to Chicago this year, I wish I could hang out with you all again! My best memories are the piece-meal (literally) food fight that set the stage on the first official night, being wowed collectively at the LOTR exhibit (lusting over Alan Howe's pencil sketches w/Maegwen), playing the LOTR trivia game at Hanna Boffin's house and a great whale-watching cruise even though we saw no whales (my fellow TORNadoes made up for that).

For those newbies going this year to Chicago, I wish I could meet you, but you'll have a blast anyway, as TORNadoes are all very friendly, approachable and wonderfully unique. All have a story to tell and every person expresses their love for Tolkien individually, which you can find if you take the time.

There's a cruise ship heading to Alaska with my name (and the husband's) on it so that's where I'll be. Anyone taking of tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's homes, please just give them for me a big thank you for still being around.
