Bashies,

    Ah, spring.  The sound of thunder, the smell of rain, the spreading
green of new growth...the pestering from the hotel to try to get them some
solid numbers for planning purposes.  So, numbers I shall attempt to get for
them.

    In order to do this, I'm going to ask just a few questions - and ask
that you please respond ASAP.  They're fairly straightforward, and will help
me a great deal in getting this set up.  So, here goes.


1.  Are you attending?  If so, are you bringing anyone else with you?

    Even if you've sent payment of fee, it would be appreciated if you
answered.  I need to know how large a room I need to book, and how many
meals, etc., are going to need to be prepared.  This question doesn't apply
to lodging - simply attendance for the reception and the banquet.
    Please let me know if you're *definitely* attending, if you don't know
yet, or if you definitely *aren't*.  If you aren't, I'll remove you from the
mailing list, so that you don't have to be bothered anymore.


2.  Are you planning to stay in our hotel?

    If not, please let me know what your arrangements are likely to be - a
friend's house, you live in the area, another hotel, etc.  I have to fill a
certain number of rooms to avoid nasty financial penalty, and I need to know
ASAP whether or not I'll have enough rooms booked to be in good shape.  For
the record, we currently have 15 rooms available for booking.


3.  What is your 'activity' at TheOneRing.net?

    Are you a Barliman's chatter, a Message Board poster, or a faithful
reader?


4.  Would you be interested in an event t-shirt?  If so, more than one?

    I'm looking for designs as we speak, and hope to have something ready to
show you all in the next week or two.  Knowing how many t-shirts are likely
to be ordered will help me figure out the price of them - more volume, less
money, don'tcha know.  =]


    I thank you all for taking the time to answer these questions - it helps
me out a lot, and will allow me to serve y'all better in organising this
