From curunir@theonering.net Wed Feb 20 06:42:35 2002 From: curunir@theonering.net (Curunir) Date: Wed, 20 Feb 2002 00:42:35 -0600 Subject: [Barlibash] At long last! Message-ID: <01b601c1b9d9$ca495590$2172d90c@werkstation> This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_01B3_01C1B9A7.7D72B130 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hullo, folks, and welcome to the first Bash mail. =3D] I know I'm = running a bit behind on this, and it was supposed to be out a week ago, = but what can I say...I've been rather busy. =3D] Hopefully you'll = forgive the delay, and get on with making your Bash plans! To recap, we'll be meeting July 24th-28th, in Seattle, WA. The hotel = we'll be staying at has finally been confirmed and guaranteed, and is = the Westcoast Bellevue, in Bellevue, Washington. It's about fifteen = minutes from downtown, and can be found (if just barely) on the web. I've calculated all the room cost variables with tax, and list them for = you below - makes it easier than guessing what it'll be after tax is = added and all that. Also, as far as room rates and such go, this is when you need to start = considering whether or not you'll need a roommate. If you have somebody = in mind who is also planning to attend, fantastic. If not, let me = know...I'll be keeping a list, and trying to put people in contact with = one another to see if it might work for ya. Just let me know your name, = contact info, age and sex, and I'll see if I can't find somebody to help = you cut costs. The "fee" for the Bash has been set - there will be a $60 charge for all = attendees, and will be used to cover the food expenses for the reception = and banquet, as well as pay for the requisite meeting space. = Information on sending in the fee will be provided at a later date, = after I've taken care of a bit of administrativa. Single bed, single occupancy: $99 per night ($113.25 with tax, $453.02 = total.) Two beds, double occupancy: $109 per night ($124.69 with tax, $498.78 = total.) Per person: $62.35 per = night, $249.39 total Two beds, triple occupancy: $119 per night ($136.13 with tax, $544.52 = total.) Per person: $45.38 per = night, $181.50 total. Two beds, quad occupancy: $129 per night ($147.57 with tax, $590.28 = total.) Per person: $36.90 per = night, $147.59 total. And, should you care for a suite, it's $149 per night ($170.45 with tax, = $681.82 total); suites are double occupancy with a king bed. When you plan to make a reservation, email me with your name and contact = information so I can add you to my verification list, and I'll respond = with the appropriate information to contact the hotel. I do this = because my list needs to match the hotel's at all times - they will be = emailing me weekly reservation lists, and if they give me a reservation = that I've got no matching information for and cannot easily verify, that = reservation will be dropped. Space is at a premium - we've chosen a rather busy weekend for Seattle. = Therefore, time is of the essence. The sooner I know how many people = I'm going to have, the better I can ensure that the hotel is able to = meet our needs, before they run out of rooms. =3D] That's all the information I've got for you at the moment. Please don't = hesitate to contact me if you have any questions - I will do my best to = answer them swiftly and accurately. Thanks for your interest in Barliman's Bash, and I hope to see you all = in Seattle! At your service, Curunir ------=_NextPart_000_01B3_01C1B9A7.7D72B130 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable
