[Barlibash] Barliman's Bash Fee

Hullo, interested Bash people!  Here's the second email to come your way
regarding the Bash, and the fun fun stuff that needs to be done so it can
work.  =]

The Bash fee, as mentioned in the previous email, has been set at $60.00
American.  The purpose of this email is to explain what the fee pays for,
and to let at least some of you know how to send the fee.

Here's what your $60.00 does:


It pays for the meeting space we must book to use as a gathering place for
the reception and banquet.

It pays for the hors d'oeuvres at the reception - the more people we have,
the more and better munchies we can get.

It pays for the full sit-down banquet, which stretches from salad through
dessert.

It also pays the setup fee for the cash bar that will be at both gatherings.


Some have said they think it's a bit high - but they're comparing it to
admission fees for a convention, where you don't get food and bar access,
and where you have many, many more people pushing the cost per person down.


How to send your fee:

At the moment, I've yet to finish the setup process for receiving snail
mailed checks and money orders.  I have, however, set up a PayPal account to
accept electronic payment, if have the service or wish to set it up.
Registration is simple, and it's free, at www.paypal.com.

Please be sure to include your name and contact information (email address;
chat nick (if you have one), and telephone number), as well as the names of
any other people you are paying for.
