Sept 22 Birthday Plans in Centralia, IL - Xoanon @ 20:48 PST

Anderson, Community Development Director for the City of Centralia, IL, writes: The City of Centralia, Illinois Recreation Department hosts outdoor movies at the Band Shell in Library Park through the Summer and Fall each year. This year, because our distributor finally picked up New Line Cinema Movies – we are proud to announce that we are showing The Fellowship of the Ring as a free outdoor movie in the park. And what better day to show this movie than on Bilbo and Frodo’s Birthday’s; Saturday, September 22nd, 2007.

So – everyone is invited to Centralia, Illinois to join us for a Birthday Party! We will have a costume contest, Trivia Contest, and other activities for LOTR fans. As always, we have non-alcoholic refreshments, popcorn, nachos, etc. We only have permanent seating for about 100, but plenty of open space for more, so bring your chairs or blankets, bring your hauberks and helms, and enjoy The Fellowship on a 40+ foot outdoor screen (for free). It will be dark enough to start the movie at 7:30 p.m. but come early to share Costumes and Trivia at 6:30 p.m.
