The cop, a dark guy and a heart attack waiting to happen, who is escorting this witness who is a 14-time loser with a sunny outlook.

A Tale of Two Cities: (1935) Ronald Colman does a far, far better thing than he has ever done as the sardonic and dissolute Sydney Carton in the classic adaptation of Charles Dickens' French Revolution drama directed by Jack Conway and lavishly produced by David Selznick, who earned an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. Elizabeth Allan, Edna May Oliver, Reginald Owen, and Basil Rathbone co-star. Details: Black and White, Warner, Academy Ratio, 1.33:1. A-Team: Season Five - Final Season: At the end of their stint in Viet Nam, Col. John "Hannibal" Smith and his team were framed for robbing the Bank of Hanoi (which they had done, but under orders), and sent to a US military prison. They escaped and went on the run, pursued first by Col. Lynch and later by Col. Decker. While on the lam, they became heroes for hire, working as good-guy vigilantes around the US or the world. Hannibal was their leader and an expert at disguises. Face was the team's con artist and lady's man. BA (officially "Bad Attitude") was their mechanic, but also took care of mayhem and intimidation. The final member of the Team, "Howling Mad" Murdock, was an expert pilot, and a certified lunatic--they broke him out of a mental hospital whenever they needed him for a mission.

The series will inspire children to sing and dance along with these lovable characters and stretch their imaginations as they climb up mountains, slide down glaciers and sail across oceans.

Bad Santa - Director's Cut: Billy Bob Thornton is perfectly cast as the foul-mouthed, sex-crazed, child-hating, hard-drinking safecracker who plays the rattiest, most misanthropic department store Santa in creation in Terry Zwigoff's anti-holiday film. It's part of his cover with his partner in crime (Tony Cox), a midget who plays Santa's Little Helper while masterminding the holiday heist of their department story, until he becomes the most unlikely father figure to a sad-sack only child (Brett Kelly). Lauren Graham, Bernie Mac, and John Ritter (in his last film role) co-star. Everybody Hates Chris First Season: Motivated by his childhood experiences, Emmy Award-winner/actor/comedian Chris Rock narrates this very hilarious & touching story of a teenager growing up as the oldest of three children in Brooklyn, NY in 1982. 1982 is the year that Chris (Tyler James Williams) turns 13. Filled with dreams of being a cool teenager, Chris moves with his family from the projects to the "Bed-Stuy: Do or Die" neighborhood. As the family's emergency adult, he's accountable for taking care of his younger brother Drew (who's taller and more confident than Chris) (Tequan Richmond) and sister Tonya (who gets all the parents' attention) (Imani Hakim) while his parents are working. Chris' rough cost-conscious father Julius (Terry Crews) works numerous jobs to properly support his family. Who runs the household in a very tight budget is very strict and sassy mom Rochelle (Tichina Arnold) who works part-time in a small real-estate office. With his mom strong-minded to see him in a good school, while Drew and Tonya go to the same school in their old neighborhood, Chris reluctantly faces multiple bus transfers every day to attend Corleone Junior High in the fiercely Italian neighborhood, South Shore. Although being an immediate target for bullies, Chris' innate charm and sharp wit will enable him to make new friends at school like Greg (Vincent Martella), another smart, nice kid...who can't fight, by the way. As Chris Rock pointedly looks back, his younger self is set to find what his family already knows: Chris' sharp, scrappy character is going to take him places. But first, he's going to have to think, talk or run his way through one growing experience after another at both home and school, and on any number of buses along the way.

The angel Gabriel must school Joseph to accept Mary's pregnancy, while Mary comes to terms with God's plan through meditations that are sometimes angry and usually punctuated by elemental images of the sun, moon, clouds, flowers, and water. Godard intercuts a brief parallel story of Eva and her nameless lover; their adulterous affair, rife with philosophical discussions, leads nowhere.

The conductor (voice of Tom Hanks) invites him on board to take an extraordinary journey to the North Pole with many other pajama-clad children. There, he receives an extraordinary gift only those who still believe in Santa can experience.

A Prairie Home Companion: As the old joke goes, Garrison Keillor has a great face for radio, but his hangdog mug and his calming voice lays a nice layer of homey ease to the low-key chaos in the backstage drama of the screen reworking of his public radio variety show, directed by Robert Altman from a script by Keillor. Big name actors fill out the show's familiar personalities -- Kevin Kline as Guy Noir (now the stage doorman), John C. Reilly and Woody Harrelson as Dusty and Lefty (here a singing cowboy act) -- and Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin fill out the show's talent roster as a down home sister act. Lindsay Lohan is Streep's gloomy daughter, Tommy Lee Jones a corporate suit who arrives to close down the theater, Virginia Madsen is an angel of death, radio show regulars Tim Russell, Sue Scott, and sound effects man Tom Keith play the show staff, and Maya Randolph quietly steals scenes as the radio ranch ramrod, corralling the strays and pushing the herd onstage. The finished film is another of Altman's loose little ensemble pieces, a slight little work that provides good company. Details: Color, 106 mins, New Line, Widescreen anamorphic, 1.85:1. Supplements: Commentary by director Robert Altman and actor Kevin Kline; "Come Play With Us: A Feature Companion" featurette; "Onstage at the Fitzgerald: A Music Companion" - extended musical performances and advertising segments; Soundtrack preview (jump to songs in the film); Trailer.
