Trim & Fletcher High End Swords

Robert M writes: Angus Trim and Christian Fletcher are getting ready to roll out their next set of Lord of the Rings-inspired swords (of which I'm lucky enough to get the first one sometime next week). Unlike the stainless steel United Cutlery swords, these are high-end performance swords, with the blades made by Angus Trim, and the fittings and accessories hand-made by Christian Fletcher. The new one is inspired by Aragorn's sword from the first two movies, is called the "Borderwatch", and you have a choice of blades and colours. The weight should come in at 3 lbs. for the heaviest bladed version. As I recall, I think I ended up paying $675 for the sword, $350 for the scabbard, and $150 for the belt (all USD - I'll be paying this credit card bill off for a LONG time...).
Gus and Christian have actually been doing this sort of thing for a while now, and the work is simply incredible. The last two LotR-inspired swords that they did sold out very quickly (the Ranger King apparently sold out within four days of the pictures hitting the site), although the pics are still up on the site. Anyway, just thought some of the sword collectors might want to know about it, especially those looking for a Ranger sword that they can actually cut with.

PS: The picture with the sword in the scabbard is my sword, which has a 1415 blade (it's lighter and tapers more than the blade in the other picture - that blade is a 1313).
