Alex from AtariAge.com wrote in to tell us that they have finally found a copy of the ill-fated Lord of the Rings: Journey to Rivendell game for the Atari 2600, which was never completed nor published by its developers Parker Brothers. Now however the good folks at AA have put together a comprehensive guide to the game which never was, including screenshots, a scan of the prototype cartridge, a picture of the prototype box, historical information about the game, and most importantly the binary image so you can play the game yourself - a must for the more veteran of Lord of the Rings Gaming fans.
