Physical description: Uruk-Hai are taller than normal orcs, and do not fear the sun. Ugluk was said to have a softer, yet more evil voice than other orcs.

Biography: Ugluk was the leader of the great Fighting Uruk-Hai. That were sent out from Othanc by Saruman, in hopes of finding the Halflings. They almost succeeded, but were thwarted by Eomer and his army of Riders of Rohan, who slew Orcs at all costs. Ugluk claimed the responsibilty for slaying Boromir, although it was several arrows which fell him. Unlike most Orcs, Ugluk was not cowardly or skittish, and stayed his ground to the death. One could say, Ugluk came closer to dying a valiant death than any other Orc.
