Biography: (MOVIE ONLY CHARACTER - SPOILERS AHEAD) Lurtz is one of Saruman's first Uruk-hai, a race of orcs specifically bred to be incredible warriors and the first to be resilient to the sun. Lurtz is the leader of the group of Uruk-hai sent to capture the Ring-bearer and pierces Boromir with four arrows. Lurtz is decapitated by Aragorn before he gets a chance to execute Boromir.
