Biography: Hama was the chief doorward of
Theoden, and he was also Captain of the Guard. He was slain defending
the gate, at the Battle of Helm's deep. Theoden was quite fond of Hama,
sending him to fetch Eomer, and Theoden was very grieved upon learning
of his death.
