Biography: (MOVIE ONLY CHARACTER - SPOILERS AHEAD) Bounder is one of the Hobbit characters that makes a very brief appearance in The Fellowship of the Ring. An elderly watchman on the outskirts of the Hobbiton, Bounder is decapitated by the same Black Rider that visited the home of Farmer Maggot in search of the Ringbearer. The death of Bounder, very much an innocent victim, helps to emphasise the evil intent of the Ringwraiths and the perilous fate facing the Hobbits if they were captured.
