Biography: A professional actor since 1976 who has applied his trade in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, Alistair Browning's first acting job on television was as a character on TV series The Sullivans. Like many other Kiwi actors on The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Browning also featured on the hospital soap Shortland Street for nearly ten years as Felix Bentley. Though his appearances on the silver screen have been few and far between (seven pictures in a career spanning more than twenty-five years), his latest big screen effort Rain (in which Celeborn actor Marton Csokas co-stars) has received critical acclaim both in New Zealand and America.
