The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Marathon
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 6, 2003
MegaStar Cinemas Southdale has been chosen as the theatre in the Minnesota area to host The Lord of the Rings Trilogy Marathon on December 16, 2003. Tickets will go on sale Thursday October 9, 2003 at the MegaStar Cinemas box office. Tickets cannot be purchased on line or via phone. All purchases must be made at the theatre box office. Doors will open at 11 am on Thursday October 9, 2003 for ticket sales.
Don't miss this exclusive opportunity to see the Extended Editions in theatres while experiencing the Trilogy in a once-in-a-lifetime back-to-back marathon the night before the official opening of the final film, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

12 Noon Special Extended Edition The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
5:00 pm Special Extended Edition The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
10:00 pm The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
No Refunds will be issued due to the high demand and limited seating.
Lost tickets cannot be re-issued.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGE CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE AUDITORIUM AT ANTYIME DURING TRILOGY DAY.
No Cameras or recording equipment, if you attempt to use any form of these devices you are consenting to immediate removal from the theatre and forfeiture of the device(s).
By attending, you agree to a physical search of your belongings and person for recording devices and/or outside food and beverage.
The Trilogy ticket purchased for $25 is admission for one person for all 3 shows of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy on December 16, 2003 only. You MUST retain this ticket stub throughout the entire day. Upon entering the designated auditorium, for the first time, your ticket will be verified and Trilogy Identification will be given to each individual ticket holder. This identification along with your ticket stub will be needed EVERY time you exit and re-enter the theatre/auditorium.
MegaStar Cinemas will not be reserving any seats during Trilogy Day. All seats are on a first come/first serve available basis. If you vacate your seats between shows, your actual seats will not be held for you by MegaStar. The auditorium will NOT be emptied and reseated at a specified time before each show, it will remain open. MegaStar staff will be cleaning the auditorium between each show.
Tickets for the Trilogy are ONLY available at the MegaStar Cinemas Southdale box office during open hours. Any ticket purchased elsewhere is considered invalid and will not be honored.
