Lewis biography takes an honest approach

11/03/04, 4:17 pm EST - Xoanon

In external events, the life of Clive Staples Lewis offers little promising material to a biographer. He pursued sedentary work as a literature professor and followed a predictable routine for most of his 65 years. Sandro Kopp joins "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe"

11/03/04, 4:02 pm EST - Tehanu

News came to us via Leo, who met Sandro Kopp at RingCon in Germany.

"Sandro Kopp (an extra in LOTR:TTT and LOTR:ROTK) seems to be the latest addition to the cast of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Got it from the horse's mouth himself so to say ;)

"Sandro will play one of the centaurs in the final battle, filming of which has already started on the South Island. In a reaction Sandro admitted needing to spend some time in the gym to work up his 'centaur-physique'."

Sandro Kopp appeared quite a lot on LOTR, where he played one of Elrond's elf lords at Rivendell, as well as being an extra in many other scenes. He is also a talented artist who used his downtime on the set to sketch the other cast members. He has his own website where you can read about it and see his artwork. [More]
