Ok, Not even I saw this one coming..... Forgotten Silver Special Edition DVD?
![]() Imagine my shock when I open my mailbox and am greeted to an e-mail from one of our great sources, telling us that the Forgotten Silver Special Edition DVD is soon to be released. My jaw literaly dropped. I always thought that this would be one of the last of PJ's films to be released onto DVD, and for it to get such a great treatment, well It made me cream my underwear. First of all it's being released by first run features (these were the guys that handled the US release of FS) It'll have a retail of $29.95 (undoubtdly we'll be able to pick it up cheaper) Now get a load of these extra features: Oh and you think we are finished there with the extras? Ha! try these on for size as well! :) Interviews with directors Peter Jackson and Costa Botes; Interviews with key cast and crew; Special FX shots Now I think you'll agree that is an excellent dvd specification! :) One thing that i thought was intresting was that the running time was quoted as 80 minutes, the original running time is around 54 minutes, could we be seeing an extended version of FS? :) This amazing DVD is being released on Tuesday 19th December 2000 So we dont have long to wait :) You can rest assured we'll be reviewing this DVD as soon as we can get hold of a copy :) We'll keep you informed of any more information we get, till then the press release can be found here Find out more information about Forgotten Silver at TBHL -Many thanks to David for the great information! :)
