Star Wars II Production Ramps Up

The official Star Wars website is reporting that the production is preparting for some additional shoots in London. This could mean that Christopher Lee (Saruman) and Marton Csokas (Celeborn) may be there working on some additional scenes.

One Night at McCools Pushed Back...Again

The Liv Tyler (Arwen) film 'One Night at McCools' was once set for a release today, then was pushed back to April 13th, now word has it from Corona that is has been pushed back yet again. Orlando Bloom cast in next Ridley Scott Film

Orlando Bloom (Legolas) has been cast as Private First Class Todd Blackburn in the new Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Blade Runner, Alien) film 'Black Hawk Down'. The film is scheduled for a November 2001 release.

Wanna hear more about Sauron???

It seems more and more certain that we WILL see Sauron in the movies, according to this report from an extra who was THERE. Nobody's been able to say yet whether the scene in question is from the Battle of the Last Alliance, when the Ring was cut from Sauron's finger, or whether he'll appear at the end of ROTK, but it seems we'll get more than a quick glimpse.
