"For Australian LOTR fans, the BAFTA awards are going to be broadcast on Channel 2 ABC Television on March 2 and 9.30pm, a bit late but better than not at all. I rang programming today to confirm." Thanks to Laurel for that. FOTR is nominated for a number of awards at the BAFTAS.

People in the cinema industry have told us of a new final reel (including the TTT footage?) for FOTR arriving 'soon:' Now we hear this from G Dengy: "A friend said yesterday that she had seen the TTT trailer running with (of all things) a budget showing of "Shallow Hal." She said it seemed to be over three minutes."
